Monty The Penguin - John Lewis Advert

Hello darlings,

EVERY SINGLE YEAR, John Lewis manage to BLOW ME AWAY with their Christmas adverts. They just seem to be getting better and better every year. I knew this year they'd have a lot to live up to if they were to beat last years Bear and Hare advert but they done it, they bloody done it!

I thought I cried a lot last year, but this year, my god I flipping bawled my eyes out. Without 30 seconds of watching it, tears were dripping out my eyes! There's just something about the penguin that makes me so damn emotional!

I still can't work out if he had to pay for the penguin to get on the bus or not..

If you haven't seen it, I recommend you do!

Chocolate Cookies Recipe

Hello darlings,

A few weeks ago, I had a lot of family coming over to visit. We needed to feed them so I thought what's better than some homemade cookies?!

I found the recipe on the lovely Tanya Burr's blog so thought why not give it a try. I must say they were perfect, so tasty and so well cooked!

You will need:

♡ 200g butter
♡ 300g caster sugar
♡ 1 large egg
♡ 275g self raising flour
♡ 75g cocoa powder
♡ A little bit of milk
♡ Chocolate! (I used a bar of white, a bar of milk and a bar of dark chocolate)

 First things first, (I'm a realest!), set your oven to 190oC.

- Whisk together the butter and sugar until it is a smooth consitency 

- Sieve in the flour and then add the cocoa power and egg. Mix until a smooth brown batter afterwards.

- Add your chocolate and mix again to speed all the chocolate evenly.

                     

Divide your batter into even balls and place on a greased baking tray before putting in the oven for 12 minutes. Although after 12 minutes they may not seem anywhere near cooked, they will harder as they cool down so don't put them back in!

Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner Review

Hello darlings,

I have never been the best at applying eyeliner, especially top eyeliner - it always just seems to go badly and smudge! I have watched so many YouTube tutorials but I just can't seem to get the hang of it so I usually don't bother.

I have tried so many different eyeliners, including Rimmel London thick and thin, Ted Baker eyeliner and even a Benefit one but I just found they were so badly pigmented. Even the blackest blacks came out as a grey colour. When I was in Boots in August, I was looking at the Soap & Glory stand thinking, I didn't know Soap & Glory had makeup (just a bit behind). I thought it would all be crap as they are not a makeup brand, but I ended up trying (and loving) quite a few of the items.

I tried the Supercat Eyeliner on the back of my hand and thought wow this is so easy to use, comes out very black, I must try this. I also saw the price of £6 and thought it was a bargain for Soap & Glory.

I think this eyeliner is great, such good consistency and very easy to use. I've found it's really made me look good at doing eyeliner and I'm not sure how. I have people compliment my eyeliner very often, which makes me feel so good!

I would recommend this eyeliner to anyone, especially those who are new to the makeup world or struggle to apply eyeliner.

Lush Review: Golden Wonder

Hello darlings,

When I started this blog, I was so adamant that I would update as often as I can. Doing well so far, aren't I? :/ This week has been a bit busy with school work, but hopefully next week will be calmer.

A few weeks back I went to check out the Lush Christmas range, my favourite thing! Last year I spent £70 on the Christmas stuff in the HALF PRICE SALE! I still have some snow fairy and magic wands left from last year!

One of my favourites from last year was the golden wonder, such a deceptive bath bomb. It is present shape and golden when it is in original form but when you put it into your bath, it turns the water green! 

Relaxing, pretty and fun; this will always be one of my Lush Christmas favourites.

The Beginning

Hello darlings,

Firstly I must say a massive thank you for visiting my blog and joining me on my dive into blogging world. It is a very exciting thing for me to be blogging as it's something I have never done before. It's new and a bit different.

I will be blogging about all different things including; life, fashion, beauty, motivation and advice. I would love for you to see me all as a friend instead of just a girl who sits at home behind her laptop writing down stuff and taking pictures!
